I have the pleasure to work in the exciting world of urban cable cars. This proven technology opens up an entirely new, independent level of sustainable public transit. My responsibilities are to develop and manage functional urban cable car projects within the sales area of the Benelux and Germany.

My role involves developing a business development strategy for (urban) cable cars. My responsibilities are to identify and follow-up on potential future cable car projects and collaborate with colleagues about the best strategies to move forward.

Furthermore, I am project manager on several projects within the sales area. The sales process involves:

• Finding out the needs of the client and potentially advising on the right individual solution
• Setting up initial technical design using cable calculations and EliteCAD
• Determining local legislation and applicables laws
• Calculate the pricing for the cable car system
• Take part in the bidding process for the project and negotiate the best solution for the client
• Create an overview of all necessary permits and documents for a safe public operation
• Apply for needed permits
• Manage the projects' timeline and budget both internally (technical departments, production, assembly, technicians and logistics) and externally (client, responsible authorities, sub-contractors and construction companies)
• Hand-over the cable car system

One of my major projects was the cable car project for the Floriade 2022 in Almere, Netherlands. Doppelmayr Seilbahnen GmbH was able to construct this special cable car that landed in the water and flew over a mayor highway in the Netherlands. The construction included an extensive permit process with the municipality, highway authority and the regional water authority for the construction of the cable car system and the crossing of the highway A6.

After a successful start in 2021 the cable car system in Almere was used to invite project stakeholders in other cities to ride the system and experience the ease and comfort.

I wrote my thesis at Doppelmayr Seilbahne GmbH in Wolfurt, Austria. The subject researched on was the development of  urban cable cars in Flanders, Belgium.

During my second Curriculum based internship I have advised the City of Delft on how to spend a dedicated budget for sustainable mobility on the most suitable way.

2-year master program of Urban Studies; Faculty of Culture and Society. The field of urban studies involves interdisciplinary studies of urban areas' content, form, planning and development 

For the last trimester of my Bachelor of Built Environment I have chosen to attend a NHTV wide minor with students from Media & Entertainments, Tourism, Leisure management and Logistics.  The main topic of this minor is Sustainable Development and Corporate Responsibility.
